 Lohagad Fort Trek | Lonavala | Maharashtra I went to Lohagad Fort Trek on 06 August 2017. Almost 3 years are passed but memories of Lohagad Fort Trek are still fresh in my mind. Lohagad Fort Trek was one of the most memorable trek in my life. I went for Lohagad fort trek with 99 hikers trekking group. This was my first trek in 2017. Earlier I was doing regular trek. But due to some personal reasons I have stopped treks in between. After few years gap I had started trekking again. I was very excited for Lohagad Fort trek.  Gorakhgad Fort Trek | Murbad | Maharashtra I went to Gorakhgad Fort Trek on 12 August 2018. I met with my trekking team at Kalyan station at 7 AM in the morning. There was 4 people in the team. From Kalyan we have caught bus for Murbad City. This was monsoon season so there was little rain. We were very excited for Gorakhgad Fort Trek. This was Sunday and early morning so there was not lot of rush in the Bus. We found place in the bus easily. Bus started its journey towards destination. Gorakhgad Fort  Once you reach Murbad City you will easily see Gorakhgad and Machchhindragad Fort. Height of Gorakhgad  Fort is 2137 Feet. Height of Machchhindragad fort is 1500 feet. Gorakhgad Fort is one of most difficult fort in Maharashtra. You will get 90 degree straight climbing when ascending the fort. One of our  friend  brought a car. So its was very easy for us for travelling. We can easily reach to the base village of Kamandurg Fort. There was very heavy rain on that day.
