Imagine sitting with a close one by a heart shaped lake on the top of a mountain peak, whilst feasting your eyes on endless swathes of tea plantations and undulating rain washed greens of the Western Ghats. That is exactly what the Chembra Lake trek offers to those willing to hike up the highest peak in Wayanad In North Kerala. Standing at 6900 feet above sea level, the lake also offers uninterrupted views of Wayanad, Kozhikode, Mallapuram and Nilgiri districts from the top. The trail takes you through tea estates, grasslands and forested patches, before steeply ascending to Chembra Lake, which is believed to have never dried up.

 Naneghat Caves Trek  I went to Naneghat Caves Trek on 01 January 2017 with my college friends Rakesh, Kaustubh and Mukesh. On 01 January Mukesh is having his birthday also.
