I went to Takmak Fort trek on 08 July 2018. I want to write about Takmak Fort trek since longer time. Finally today I got opportunity to write about Takmak Fort trek. I will never forget about Takmak Fort trek in my life. I woke up early in the morning  got ready for Takmak fort trek  and caught 5.30 AM memo train for Vasai. In memo train I met with my trek friend Amit. We reached to Vasai railway station at 6.35 AM.

Takmak Fort 

There was too much rain at that day. We all trekking friends met at Vasai railway station at 6.45 AM. There was team of 5 people. Amit, Yash, Madhavi, Prajakta and me. We were feeling very hungry. We went outside the Vasai railway station to take breakfast. I have ordered Idli Sambhar in breakfast. We have taken some parcel for lunch also. After finishing breakfast we caught big auto rikshaw Tumtum for base village Sakawar. 

Takmak Fort 

There was only water around the road when we were going towards Sakawar village by Tumtum auto. After 1 hour we reached to base village Sakawar. This is one of the most beautiful village on earth. Everything is well planned. We talked to some local childrens to become our guide. They were ready to become our guide. Four childrens were ready to become our guide.

Waterfall on the Way to Takmak Fort 

It took around 15 minutes to reach base of Takmak fort from Sakawar village. Finally our Takmak fort trek was started. There is very dense forest for Takmak fort trek. You have to go through these dense forest to reach on the top of Takmak fort. On the way we were getting small waterfalls. We have taken bath in these small waterfalls and proceed for Takmak fort.

Duration : 3 Hours for Ascending and 1.5 hours for Descending

By Train:

Get down at Vasai or Virar railway station and hire auto rikshaw or tumtum for base village Sakawar. Sakawar is the village located on Western express highway. 

By Road:

By Western Express Highway you will reach to base village Sakawar
