I went to Bhivgad Fort trek on 14 July 2019. This was one of the most memorable trek in life. We all trekking friends meet at 8 am sharp in the morning at Karjat railway station. There was team of 6 people. Pragyan, Amit, Pradeep, Madhavi and Amit Singh were in the trekking team. We were very hungry so we went for snacks. We had breakfast and tea. Some of us had Vada Pav, Kanda Bhaji, Misal Pav and Vada Usal in breakfast. We also took parcel to eat. We caught rikshaw for base village Vadap.

Rock Cut Ancient Steps

Its take approximately 30 minutes to reach Vadap Village. There was rain coming and going in between. When we were travelling from Karjat railway station to Vadap village road was not so good. We had to be very careful when any speed breaker come and we have to fly in air. Once we reached Vadap village then we asked to local shopkeeper how to reach Bhivgad Fort. He guided us how we can go to Bhivgad Fort.

This rock cut ancient steps were slipery . Wear good trekking shoes while going for Bhivgad fort trek. I think this rock cut ancient steps were made by cutting mountain.
